Bureau Veritas Polska joins E&W and Eurowind Energy in the construction of the Żółkiewka wind farm

Bureau Veritas Polska supports the E&W company, part of the Danish Eurowind Energy A/S company and Winbud sp. z o.o. in the construction of the Żółkiewka Wind Farm in the Lublin region. The contract covers the site supervision over the construction of 11 turbines and the Main Reception Point. 

As part of a contract with E&W sp. z o.o. ZOL sp. k., a part of the Danish Eurowind Energy A/S company and Winbud sp. z o.o.  concluded in spring 2021, Bureau Veritas Polska has assumed the role of the contract engineer, performing investor’s site supervision of the realisation of the Żółkiewka Wind Farm. The comprehensive supervision includes, but is not limited to: earth works, road works, construction and building works, electric works and the installation of wind turbines with their start-up. The investment comprises 11 Vestas V100 wind turbines and the Main Reception Point. Completion of the wind farm construction is planned for the end of September 2022.

“This is another wind project participated in by Bureau Veritas. We consistently develop our services in the wind energy sector, supporting clients throughout the investment process. Prior to this, in Poland, we dealt with such projects as the technical controls of 59 turbines for ENERTRAG in Western Pomerania,” said Mr Rafał Borkowski, Business Development Manager at Bureau Veritas Polska.
